Locum Physician Assistant (PA) - Cardiology Surgery

Opportunity Healthcare, a leading Advanced Practice agency, is urgently seeking a Cardiology Physician Assistant for a locum tenens position in Idaho Falls, ID. This Physician Assistant will assess, diagnose, and manage a variety of health conditions while promoting wellness and disease prevention.

Job Description

• Specialty: Cardiology, Surgery, Vascular
• Schedule: Up to 2 weeks per month of CV surgery call coverage, supporting Cardiac, Thoracic, and Vascular surgery program
• Duration: Starting in July for 6 months
• Shift Time: 24-hour call coverage
• Pay: $105-$115 per hour
• Additional Details: It is not just for emergency call coverage; assistance will be needed in scheduled OR cases and inpatient rounding, including on weekends. It is required that the Physician Assistant be able to harvest veins for surgery and assist in the OR. Support staff includes a full nursing staff, 1 full-time APP, and 3 full-time employed surgeons. Practice EMR is Meditech.
