    Gastroenterologist

    Join a thriving gastroenterology practice as we seek two additional gastroenterologists to expand our well-established group.

    Job Description

    • Work alongside seven experienced gastroenterologists and two advanced practice providers.
    • Benefit from robust APP and fellow support, allowing 3-4 days dedicated to procedures, with flexibility for more clinic time if desired.
    • Enjoy a manageable 1:7 call rotation.
    • Work at OSF HealthCare Saint Francis Medical Center, the fifth-largest medical center in Illinois, which is a major teaching affiliate of the University of Illinois College of Medicine at Peoria and features the area's only Level 1 Trauma Center.
    • Participate in our gastroenterology fellowship program.
    • Utilize the EPIC electronic medical record system for seamless documentation.
    • Visa sponsorship options are available (J1 and H1B).

    • Full-time clinical base salary pay range for this position: $680,000-$749,098. This range is an estimate and can be impacted by various factors including critical need, overall experience, community need, and other considerations. Additional compensation components may be applicable such as bonuses or incentives.

    Requirements

    • Physician licensed to practice medicine in the current state.
    • Licensed by the Federal Drug Enforcement Administration and the State of Illinois to prescribe narcotics, if applicable.
    • Board certified or board eligible in the appropriate specialty(ies). Must obtain and maintain medical staff membership and appropriate privileges.
    • Must be eligible as a provider for Medicare, Medicaid, and other federal health programs.
    • Must meet all qualifications to participate in OSF's programs for professional malpractice and other liability coverage.

    Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide patient care aligned to the preferences, goals, and needs of the patients served.
