Internal Medicine Physician

Join our dynamic team as a Board Certified/Board Eligible Internal Medicine Physician to support the OSF Care Hub Program. This role requires a strong understanding of OSF processes and involves collaborating with a team of nurses and analysts to triage and determine patient movement at the OSF hospital facilities, as well as managing the intake of transfers to OSF.

Job Description

• Collaborate with a team of nurses and analysts to triage and determine patient movement at the OSF hospital facilities
• Manage the intake of transfers to OSF
• Define and communicate mitigation strategies for optimal patient flow across the entire Ministry
• Build effective and trusting relationships with local clinicians
• Utilize critical communications and problem-solving skill sets

Requirements

• Doctorate in Medicine
• Physician licensed to practice medicine in the current state
• Board certified or board eligible in the appropriate specialty(ies)
• Eligible as a provider for Medicare, Medicaid, and other federal health programs
• Must meet all qualifications to participate in OSF's programs for professional malpractice and other liability coverage
• Licensed by the Federal Drug Enforcement Administration and the State of Illinois to prescribe narcotics, if applicable

• Competitive base salary ($324,597-$324,598 per year, prorated based on FTE)
