    Urologic Oncologist

    Join a busy urology group seeking a urologic oncologist for patient care. You will be part of a team of five urologists, seven advanced practice providers, and two private surgical techs.

    Job Description

    • Call is 1:6 weekends.
    • Provide high-quality medical services using robotic and laparoscopic surgical skills. Three daVinci Xi robots are available for use at OSF Saint Francis Medical Center in Peoria, Illinois, with an additional daVinci system available in our surgery center.
    • Benefit from referral support from a large multi-specialty group and a robust hospitalist group.
    • OSF HealthCare Saint Francis Medical Center is the fifth largest medical center in Illinois and a major teaching affiliate of the University of Illinois, College of Medicine at Peoria. The recently opened OSF Cancer Institute is located right on the main campus of the medical center.
    • Utilize Epic EMR.

    Requirements

    • Physician must obtain and maintain an Illinois state medical license.
    • Licensed by the Federal Drug Enforcement Administration and the State of Illinois to prescribe narcotics, if applicable.
    • ABMS board certified or board eligible in Urology.
    • Robotic surgery experience.
    • Obtain and maintain medical staff membership and appropriate privileges.
    • Must be eligible as a provider for Medicare, Medicaid, and other federal health programs.
    • Physician shall meet all qualifications to participate in OSF's programs for professional malpractice and other liability coverage.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • SUO accredited fellowship training in Urological Oncology.
    • Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide patient care aligned to the preferences, goals, and needs of the patients served.

    Compensation Information

    Full-time clinical base salary pay range for this position is $505,000 to $632,000 annually. The range shown should be used as an estimate and can be impacted by many factors including but not limited to the critical need of the position, overall experience and qualifications, community need, and other considerations. Additional compensation components may be applicable such as bonuses or incentives which may or may not be based on metric achievement.
