Rheumatology Nurse Practitioner
Join an established Rheumatology team consisting of 1 Physician and 2 additional Advanced Practice Providers (APPs). This position offers an excellent work/life balance with no call or weekends.
Job Description
- Perform patient assessment and assign diagnosis based on recorded assessment data and current scientific research.
- Establish plan of care and implement interventions in accordance with care paths, protocols, standards of care, and current research.
- Provide education and counseling to patients and families.
- Clinic hours are Monday - Friday 8am-4:30pm.
- Options for a 4-day work week.
Requirements
- 1+ years working in Rheumatology is preferred.
- Master's degree or higher in nursing or studies from an accredited program.
- Current Illinois license as a nurse practitioner.
- Certification by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC).
- Minimum of two years of experience as an NP in primary care or a related field is preferred.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
- Proficiency in electronic medical record (EMR) systems.

- Clinical base hourly pay range for this position: $55.20 - $63.65 per hour. This is a salaried position.
