Rheumatology Nurse Practitioner

Join an established Rheumatology team consisting of 1 Physician and 2 additional APPs. This position offers excellent work/life balance with no call or weekends.

Job Description

• Perform patient assessment and assign diagnosis based on recorded assessment data and current scientific and current research.
• Establish plan of care and implement interventions in accordance with care paths, protocols, standards of care, and current research.
• Provide education and counseling to patients and families.
• Clinic hours are Monday - Friday 8am-4:30pm.
• Options for a 4-day work week.

Requirements

• 1+ years working in Rheumatology is preferred.
• Master's degree or higher in nursing or studies from an accredited program.
• Current Illinois license as a nurse practitioner.
• Certification by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC).
• Minimum of two years of experience as an NP in primary care or a related field is preferred.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
• Proficiency in electronic medical record (EMR) systems.

• Clinical base hourly pay range for this position: $55.20 - $63.65 hr. This is a salaried position.
