The facility is well-equipped and designed to treat the 27,000 patients OMC's Emergency Department sees annually in 16 private, monitored treatment rooms. We are recruiting full-time residency-trained, BE/BC ED physicians.

Job Description

• Excellent diagnostic imaging and laboratory services, with real-time radiology reading 24/7
• Documentation with electronic T-system and scribes
• Bedside ultrasound with credentialing track
• Glidescope
• Full scope of procedural sedation
• Strong, collegial specialty backup including psychiatry, OB, neurosurgery, orthopedics, CT surgery, general surgery, urology, ENT, interventional cardiology, neurology, pediatrics, and hospitalists
• Midlevel coverage in fast track 16 hours/day
• Stroke/STEMI teams 24/7
• 8, 9, and 10-hour shifts, flexible scheduling, minimal night shifts

OMC is a unique 114-bed, independent, not-for-profit medical referral center serving an 11-county area in south central Missouri and north central Arkansas with its main facility located in beautiful West Plains. OMC employs approximately 1,000 people and serves a population base of 150,000. With more than 100 doctors, OMC has a strong core of primary care physicians as well as numerous specialists.
