Just in time to catch the end of winter and the beginning of spring in Colorado. Please consider the following new anesthesiology locum tenens position in Colorado. The facility will now accept providers willing to cover 2 consecutive weeks per month with a 3-month or longer commitment (in lieu of full-time). The facility will now also consider providers willing to obtain a CO license.

Job Description

• Providers must have medium to high acuity experience (Level 1) to be considered; this includes vascular, OB, neurosurgery, and trauma.
• Hospital is looking for experienced, board-certified anesthesiologists to provide care for a wide variety of case types.
• Duration: Hiring as soon as credentialed - ongoing, (with possibility for permanent per agreement of all parties).
• Facility will now take part-time or full-time locums at least 3 months and ideally ongoing.
• Location: 1 hour from downtown Denver, CO.
• Shift begins at 7 a.m. - 7:30 a.m. - 10-hour shifts generally.
• Schedule: Doctors typically work five 10-hour shifts; call coverage may be necessary (late evening or weekend).
• Call: negotiable.
• Surgical cases: 30K per year, 80% general, 8% neuro, 1% thoracic, 3% vascular, 7% orthopedics, 1% bariatrics, no OB, no cardiac.

Requirements

• Required: ACLS, PALS, board certified, active Colorado license preferred. Board-eligible providers will not be accepted. Providers must have BC.
• Providers MUST be comfortable in a high acuity, high-quality work environment. The facility is currently Level 2 but operates as a Level 1.
• Providers must commit to 2 weeks per month (preferably consecutive weeks) for a minimum of 3 months to be considered.
