GI Locum Tenens Physician

Join our team for GI locum tenens coverage starting in June. Located just 17 miles from Atlanta, this opportunity offers a flexible schedule and the potential for extension.

Job Description

• Coverage duration: June 2024 - October 2024 (potential to extend)
• Reason for coverage: Increase in patient volume
• Schedule: Monday to Sunday, 1-3 weeks per month
• Shift: 7 AM to 7 PM
• Call: No call required
• Patient volume: 5-12 patients per day per physician, 10-25 patients total
• Scope: Adult inpatient, required procedures include EGD and colonoscopy (advanced procedures not required)
• EMR: EPIC
• Hospital: 345 beds, level 3 trauma center
• Group/support: 1 other GI hospitalist on service

Requirements

• GA or IMLC licensed
• Board certified
