Cardiothoracic Surgeon

We are seeking a board-certified Cardiothoracic Surgeon to join our established, 50-year-old practice.

Job Description

• Join an existing, highly ranked cardiothoracic practice
• One of the busiest programs in California serving a patient catchment area of 1 million
• 3-star rating for CABG (top 10%) and AVR (top 5%) in the US and Canada by STS
• Platinum Performance Achievement Award in Chest Pain from the American College of Cardiology
• Seeking a surgeon interested in having a thoracic-focused practice
• Average of 70 CVT cases per month
• Thoracic focused with cardiac and vascular cases available
• Recruiting for succession plan and growth in the community
• We have hired a cardiac-focused CVT surgeon who will start in September 2024
• Looking to recruit a third physician to our group
• 40 cardiologists referring to you
• 2 CVS OR suites + hybrid room staffed with cardiothoracic PAs for first assist
• Assisting surgeons and PAs in OR and for post-op

Requirements

• Guarantee base salary ($800,000 - $850,000) with RVU productivity bonuses
• Guarantee base salary is a minimum floor - you will always have your base paid
• Call = additional $182,500 per year
• Sign-on bonus and relocation package
• Employed with one of the nation's largest not-for-profit healthcare systems
