General Surgery Locum Tenens Opportunity

This is a locum tenens opportunity for a General Surgeon in Oregon. The position is based in Portland and offers a chance to work in a supportive environment with a dedicated team.

Job Description

• Duration: February 2020 to December 2020 (with possibility of extension)
• Schedule: 3rd weekend of every month
• Shift: Clinic from 7 AM to 5 PM plus call from Friday 7 AM to Monday 7 AM
• Scope: Bread and butter general surgery
• Office patients: 10 per day
• Hospital patients: 6 rounds/consults, 2 admissions, 1-2 surgeries
• Group: 2 other general surgeons
• EMR: Epic
• Hospital: 143 beds, 8 ICUs, no trauma

Requirements

• Board certified with an Oregon license
