Family Practice - Without OB Physician

Family Medicine or Internal Medicine-Pediatric Physician

We are seeking a Family Medicine or Internal Medicine-Pediatric Physician for outpatient primary care. This position offers a 4-day work week, allowing you to see 12-15 patients per day in a supportive environment.

Job Description

• Experience in NRP, neonatal intubations, line placement, and other pediatric hospitalist procedures desired.
• Join a large team of primary care physicians, including 6 Family Medicine doctors, 1 pediatrician, and 4 APPs.
• Support from 3 OB/GYNs and 3 CNMs for newborn care.
• 10 days of pediatric call per month, with an average of 2-3 total pediatric patients per month.
• Admit and manage pediatric patients; complex and PICU level patients are transferred to a hospital in Anchorage, AK.
• Work in a 22-bed critical access hospital with a 9-bed ED and approximately 6,500 annual visits.
