Join our team as a NeuroHospitalist in Oklahoma City, OK. This position is essential for covering gaps in coverage and offers a structured schedule.

Job Description

• Schedule: 1 week per month (Thursday to Thursday) with specific weeks of coverage: May 22 - May 29, July 3 - July 10, August 14 - August 21, September 25 - October 2, November 6 - November 13, December 18 - December 25.
• Shift: Thursday to Thursday, arrive at 5 PM for handoff, with night call from 7 PM to 7 AM and in-house work starting Friday from 7 AM to 7 PM.
• Patient volume: Manage 10-15 patients per day, including a mix of new patients and follow-ups. The hospitalist handles admissions, with an average of 2-7 new consults per day.
• Scope: Perform bread and butter NeuroHospitalist work, including rounding, new consults, and follow-ups. Must conduct EEGs; no APP supervision required. EEGs are performed 24/7, with an average of 2-4 EEGs per day. Not responsible for running codes.
• EMR: Meditech.
• Hospital: Level 2 Trauma Center - Primary Stroke Center.
• Group/support: 1-2 Neuro providers available for backup.

Requirements

• Board Certified with an Oklahoma or IMLC Compact license.
