Join our team as a Nocturnist in Southern California, located near Pasadena. This position offers a flexible schedule with night shifts and a supportive environment.

Job Description

• Work 1-2 shifts per week, with a preference for 8 shifts per month, ideally consecutive.
• Night shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM, 12-hour shifts.
• Manage a patient volume of 4-6 admissions per shift.
• Scope includes general bread and butter nocturnist duties, mainly admissions with some possible rounding and consulting to the emergency department.
• No procedures or codes required; the emergency department handles codes and the intensivist manages procedures.
• Utilize Epic as the electronic medical record system.
• Work in a hospital with 563 beds, designated as a level 2 trauma center.
• Full support staff available.

Requirements

• Board-certified or board-eligible.
• Must have an active California medical license.
• Prefer candidates with local residency and Epic experience.
