This Vascular Surgery Locum Tenens position is located in Pueblo, CO.

Job Description

• Location: Pueblo, CO
• Duration: July/August 2023 to January 2024 (likely to extend)
• Reason for coverage: Supporting the group
• Schedule: 5-10 shifts per month (preferred blocked if the provider is flying in)
• Shift: 7a-7a
• Call: Taken from hotel
• Patient volume: Approximately 4-8 hours of patient contact per day, approximately 1 case
• Capture area: New Mexico and Kansas boards (big capture area)
• Scope: Vascular ER, consults, round, emergent surgeries
• EMR: Epic
• Hospital: 370 beds, level II trauma center
• Group/support: 3 permanent vascular surgeons, APP will be onsite M-F for first assist, on call back over the weekends

Requirements

• Colorado or compact license
• Board-certified or recently trained board-eligible in Vascular Surgery or CVS fellowship required
• Must have acute case logs within the last 12 months (not required at time of name clear, but requested from your physicians)
