Supervisor, Imaging, Breast Center

Supervises and oversees the day-to-day activities related to the diagnostic imaging services that may include radiography, fluoroscopy, mammography, ultrasound, computed tomography, nuclear medicine, and/or magnetic resonance imaging services.

Job Description

• Ensures consistent delivery of high-value quality services to support effective outcomes.
• Oversees and facilitates daily operations, and liaises with other patient care departments to ensure service integration, and safe and effective delivery of services.
• Establishes work priorities, and assists staff in resolving operational issues/problems.
• Implements and enforces adherence to department, affiliate, operating unit, and/or system standards, policies and procedures, the Joint Commission (TJC) standards, and applicable laws and regulations.
• Identifies and implements cost savings and best practices, using Lean or other process improvement methods and concepts.
• Collaborates with others to coordinate services, streamline and standardize workflows and procedures, and/or drive positive outcomes.

Requirements

• HS Diploma or General Education Diploma (GED)
• 5 years of relevant experience.
• BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider
• ARRT - Radiography - American Register of Radiologic Technologists
• OR CRT-Certified Radiologic Technologist
• OR NMT-Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist
• OR ARDMS-American Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer
• OR CT-Computed Tomography
• OR RHM-Radiology Mammography
• OR ARMRIT-Certified MRI Technologist
• OR RCS-Registered Cardiac Sonographer
