Palm Health Resources is excited to partner with a well-respected children's hospital in New Orleans to recruit experienced Advanced Practice Providers (PA/NP) for their Pediatric Cardiac Intensive Care Unit (CICU). This is an exceptional opportunity to work with a smaller, sophisticated pediatric heart program offering the full spectrum of congenital cardiac surgery in a dynamic, educational environment.

Job Description

• First-assist in pediatric heart surgeries
• Manage pediatric and congenital cardiac cases
• Work in a collaborative academic hospital setting with a strong focus on clinical excellence and learning
• Participate in rotating shared call, including weekends (no routine rounding, but available for emergencies/procedures like ECMO)
• Flexible shifts available: Days, Nights, and Weekends
• Schedule consists of 3x12-hour shifts per week

Requirements

• Physician Assistant (PA-C) or Nurse Practitioner (NP)
• Extensive experience in pediatric cardiac surgery or CICU/OR first-assist
• Skilled in handling high-acuity pediatric patients in a surgical and ICU setting
• Team-oriented, with strong clinical judgment and communication skills
