Family Practice - Without OB Physician

Locum OB/GYN Physician

We are hiring 2 Locum OB/GYN Physicians for ongoing locums coverage in the Newark, NJ area! This is an ongoing locums coverage need in labor and delivery. The position includes 12-24 hour shifts in addition to women's health center (clinic coverage is 8 hours per shift) and private OB/GYN practice (8 hours per shift). There is also an opportunity to perform GYN surgery, either open, laparoscopic, or robotic.

Job Description

• Manage ED OB/GYN emergencies
• Perform GYN surgery and office procedures (Colpo, Endometrial biopsy, vulvar biopsy, etc.)
• Work 12-24 hour shifts in labor and delivery and 8 hours in a clinic setting
• No call required
• Patient load in clinic: 35 patients per day

Additional Support

• Certified Nurse Midwife, APNs, RNs, MAs, US Techs, and MFM available 3 days per week in the office
• Certified Nurse Midwife support in labor and delivery

• EMR used: SCM and GE
