Locum OB/GYN Physician

We are hiring 2 Locum OB/GYN Physicians for ongoing locums coverage in the Newark, NJ area! This is an ongoing locums coverage need in labor and delivery.

Job Description

• 12-24 hour shifts in addition to women's health center (clinic coverage is 8 hours per shift) and private OB/GYN practice (8 hours per shift).
• Opportunity to perform GYN surgery, either open, laparoscopic, or robotic.
• Required procedures and duties include ED OB/GYN emergencies, GYN surgery, and office procedures (Colpo, endometrial biopsy, vulvar biopsy, etc.).
• Schedule of days/times needed to work: 12-24 hour shifts in labor and delivery, 8 hours in clinic setting. No call!
• Patient load per day in clinic: 35 patients per day.
• Additional support includes CNM, APNs, RNs, MAs, US Techs, and MFM 3 days per week in office. Labor and delivery has certified nurse midwife support.
• EMR used: SCM and GE.
