Seeking a BC Ophthalmologist to help provide call coverage in a major city in North Carolina!

Job Description

• Coverage need: September 17, 8 AM to September 24, 8 AM. Provider will need to come in the day before scheduled for orientation. Potential for ongoing coverage.
• Will need to evaluate all hospital and ED consults, including evaluation and surgical treatment of trauma.
• Inpatient and outpatient only.
• 24-call.
• Provider must be within 20 minutes of ECU Health Medical Center while on call.
• EPIC trained preferred.
• Anticipated volumes/day: 5-8.
• Average patients/provider: 5-6.
• Provider will not respond to codes.
• No ICU/Critical Care duties.
• List of required procedures: repair ruptured globe, repair eyelid lacerations, remove corneal foreign body.
