The orthopedic surgery PA-C will be assisting the orthopedic total joint physician in all aspects of patient care.

Job Description

• Assist the orthopedic physician total joint reconstruction specialist in the patient's complete orthopedic medical diagnosis, pre-op, first assist in surgery, and post-surgical treatment.
• Make rounds and perform patient exams.
• Diagnose illnesses.
• Assist in surgery.
• Order and interpret laboratory tests and X-rays.
• Prescribe medications.
• Develop and manage treatment plans.
• Advise patients on preventative care and optimal health practices.
