Job Description
- Provide expert diagnostic imaging services to patients with a wide range of cardiovascular and thoracic conditions.
- Perform and interpret diagnostic imaging procedures including CCTA, CTA, CT scans, MRI/MRA scans including cardiac MRI to diagnose and evaluate cardiovascular and thoracic conditions.
- Interpret imaging studies and communicate findings to referring physicians.
- Work closely with other physicians and healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive treatment plans for patients.
- Teach and mentor radiology residents and medical students in diagnostic imaging related to cardiovascular and thoracic conditions.
- Participate in quality assurance and improvement activities to ensure the highest level of patient care.
Requirements
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree.
- Board certification in Diagnostic Radiology.
- Subspecialty training and/or experience in Cardiac, Cardiovascular, and Thoracic Radiology with demonstrated expertise in diagnostic imaging related to cardiovascular and thoracic conditions.
- Ability to obtain and/or maintain medical license to practice in the state of Florida.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills in a team environment.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
