Hot locum contract opportunity near Long Island, NY! This ongoing, full-time locum position is 100% in the cardiothoracic operating room. Candidates must be proficient in endoscopic vein harvesting and radial harvesting. The schedule for the OR consists of four 10-hour shifts. Our locums are treated like family members!

Job Description

• Premium pay of $120-160 per hour, plus 1.5x overtime over 40 hours, and premium on-call pay
• This cardiothoracic surgery program is ideal for advanced practice providers as they practice at the highest level of their licensure in the operating room
• Very large cardiothoracic program with over 1,500 heart surgeries performed annually
• The provider would first assist in the OR, harvest conduit, vein, and artery via endoscopic or open techniques
• Cases include all open heart surgeries from CABGs to valves, plus heart and lung transplants
• The facility is a tertiary center for all cases requiring MCS support, including LVADs and a lot of ECMO cases
