We are hiring an experienced cardiothoracic physician assistant in beautiful Sacramento, CA! This is a 3-6 month locum contract with an opportunity to extend.

Job Description

• Includes paid malpractice, housing, travel to and from, rental car and/or mileage, and much more.
• Join a robust cardiac surgery group with excellent comradery.
• Work with a team of 3 cardiac surgeons and multiple advanced practice providers (APPs).
• Full continuum of care position with proficiency in endovascular vein harvesting (EVH) required.
• Primary focus on cardiac surgery operating room duties, including first and second assisting in the OR.
• Manage patients in the ICU and on the floor, with occasional clinic responsibilities.
• Call can be taken from home, answering pages and going to the OR at night for emergency cases.
• Cases include open heart surgeries.

Requirements

• Proficiency in endovascular vein harvesting (EVH) is a must.
