Join our team for an ongoing, full-time locum opportunity in a 100% cardiothoracic operating room near Long Island, NY. This position is ideal for advanced practice providers who are proficient in endoscopic vein harvesting and radial harvesting.

Job Description

• Work four 10-hour shifts in the operating room.
• Assist in a very large cardiothoracic program with over 1,500 heart surgeries performed annually.
• First assist in the OR, harvest conduit, vein, and artery via endoscopic or open techniques.
• Participate in cases including all open heart surgeries from CABGs to valves, as well as heart and lung transplants.
• Engage in procedures at a tertiary center for all cases requiring MCS support, including LVADs and ECMO.

• Premium pay ranging from $120 to $160 per hour, plus 1.5x overtime for hours over 40.
