Cardiothoracic Surgical Physician Assistant

Palm Health is hiring an experienced cardiothoracic surgical physician assistant to join an expanding cardiothoracic surgery group in San Francisco! This is a part-time position working Saturday through Monday night (roughly working 20 hours onsite and 2-3 days of call for those 3 shifts). Monday will be a full day in the OR! Saturday and Sunday will include 4-6 hours onsite rounding and OR too. They do surgeries on weekends! This is a great part-time gig that is ongoing and will likely be used more and more as the contract goes on if desired!

Job Description

• First and second assist in the OR
• Floor rounds, H&Ps, DC summaries, and helping out with the STS database

We perform roughly 350 heart surgeries annually, 200 lung surgeries, TAVR, and MIS programs. We are a non-resident/fellow group! You will get ample time first assisting in the OR with 60% OR time!
