We are hiring an experienced cardiothoracic physician assistant in Central California for our growing program. This is a 6-month locum contract with an opportunity to extend! Includes paid malpractice, housing, travel to and from, rental car and/or mileage, and much more! Our team has excellent camaraderie and has great energy and work ethic.

Job Description

• Proficiency in Endovascular Vein Harvesting (EVH) is a must.
• Our team does all open heart cases (AVR, CABG, MVR, etc.) in the OR, which is the primary core focus of this position.
• Additionally, we do thoracic and vascular cases a small portion of the time.
• The candidate will first and second assist in the OR.
• Manage patients on the floor and pre/post-operatively.
• Schedule: Mon-Fri, with 10 hours of OT approximately weekly.
• No weekends! (except 1 weekend of call per month).
• Outstanding 1099 rate: You are looking at $120 - $140/hr! Plus OT rate!
