Urology Surgery APP (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant)

We are hiring an experienced locum tenens Urology Surgery APP for an outstanding client in San Francisco! Come work and live in a great city for 6 months and experience the food scene, water life, Napa Valley, and more.

Job Description

• Contract length: 26 weeks. Must be able to start in August or early September.
• Coverage/Schedule details: Scheduled + No Call, 5 x 8s or 4 x 10s.
• Rate: $110-$130/hr + tax-free stipend.
• Support staff: RNs who support APPs, patient coordinators assigned to do their scheduling/admin. The team consists of seasoned APPs who can train and assist as needed.
• Patients per day: 8-10 patients per day.
• Patient population/age: Mostly adult/geriatric, some older adolescents.
• EMR: EPIC.

Requirements

• Experience in one of the following: surgical oncology, surgery, urology, medical oncology. Experience in surgical oncology is highly preferred. Willing to consider new grads if they have a lot of nursing surgical oncology or urology experience.
• Board Certification: Yes.
• DEA: Yes.
• Certifications required: AHA BLS.
• Minimum experience required: 1-2 years+.
