    Job Description

    • Pediatrix Medical Group is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Neonatologist to join our growing team at Spotsylvania Regional Medical Center (SRMC). This is a unique opportunity to help shape a community-focused NICU that prioritizes keeping families together, close to home.

    • Enjoy a week-on/week-off schedule, call from home, in a vibrant, historic community just off the I-95 corridor between Washington, D.C. and Richmond.

    Responsibilities

    • Call from home with in-house NNP coverage at night
    • Week-on/week-off schedule for true work-life balance

    Your Clinical Scope

    • Staffing Model: 2 Neonatologists, 4.5 NNPs
    • Coverage Includes:
      • Collaborative care of newborn nursery and Level III NICU patients
      • Attendance at deliveries
      • Education of RN/RTs as volume and acuity increase
    • Schedule: Week-on/week-off, call from home

    • 8-bed Level III NICU
    • 10 LDR couplet care rooms
    • Average Daily Census: 9-11 (NICU/Nursery)
    • Annual Deliveries: 1,250
    • In-house OB Hospitalists
