Job Description

• Lead the pediatric critical care team at Grand Strand Medical Center.
• Shape a growing pediatric program in a vibrant community.
• Enjoy a flexible week-on/week-off schedule with home call.
• Manage an 8-bed PICU with 2 observation beds.
• Provide inpatient pediatric care and ER consults.
• Engage in teaching opportunities with family medicine residents.

Clinical Scope

• 8-bed PICU with 2 observation beds.
• Inpatient pediatric floor and ER consults.
• In-house days, home call at night.
• Teaching opportunities with family medicine residents.
• 2024 Census: 485 total admits (392 pediatric, 93 PICU), ADC: 5.1.

Subspecialty Support

• Onsite: Pediatric Surgery, GI, ENT, Anesthesia, Radiology.
• Telemedicine: Pediatric Cardiology.
• Active recruitment for Pediatric Neurology.

Qualifications

• Board Certified in Pediatrics.
• Board Eligible/Board Certified in Pediatric Critical Care.
• Previous leadership experience preferred.
