    Pediatric Neurologist

    Pediatric Neurohospitalist opportunity in the Rocky Mountains!

    Job Description

    • Pediatrix is seeking motivated, well-trained, and collaborative Pediatric Neurohospitalists to join our team.
    • 7 on/7 off scheduling model providing daily rounds for moderate patient volume with call from home.
    • In-patient child neurology that includes high-level ICU care.
    • Duties include continuous EEG monitoring (including writing reports) and consulting on pediatric patients in the NICU, PICU, floor, and ER.
    • Referral region spanning across five states (CO, KS, NE, NM, WY).
    • Collegial working environment between various hospital departments and other pediatric specialists.
    • Rocky Mountain Hospital for Children (RMHC) is in midtown Denver, part of HealthONE, Denver's largest hospital system, and part of HCA Healthcare.
    • RMHC has 53 pediatric beds and 20 PICU beds with more than 300 affiliated pediatric specialists, neonatologists, and maternal-fetal specialists.
    • A Level IV, 84-bed NICU draws from a five-state area.

    Requirements

    • BE/BC child neurology.
    • Neurohospitalist experience preferred but not required.
