    Registered Nurse

    Join our team as a Registered Nurse in Issaquah, WA. This part-time position offers the opportunity to provide compassionate care to patients in a supportive environment.

    Job Description

    • Maintain and possess a State Registered Nursing license.
    • Prepare patient assessment reports from the hospital centers and forward the reports to the physicians for validation.
    • Perform testing and report all results to physicians, documenting all findings in the patient's medical record.
    • Assist the physicians with patient visits and exams.
    • Assist the physician with procedures, properly label and send specimens to appropriate labs.
    • Schedule patients as directed by the physician.
    • Provide telephone triage and properly document all patient, physician, and other contacts.
    • Perform medication administration as necessary using universal precautions and document appropriately in the patient's medical record (i.e., time, amount, route of administration, site of administration, and any patient reaction).
    • Participate in revenue cycle by ensuring authorizations and referrals are in place and notify the Billing Associate of needs for further authorizations.
    • Document correct CPT and ICD-10 codes for services provided.
    • Maintain patient confidentiality.
    • Communicate effectively and courteously with patients and their families, demonstrating a caring attitude.
    • Treat all patients and their families with dignity and respect.
    • Act in a non-directive, non-judgmental manner recognizing an individual's religious, ethical, and moral opinion/belief.
    • Use standards of patient satisfaction as a measure of effectiveness.
    • Follow universal precautions and OSHA standards.
    • Perform other assigned duties as directed.

    Requirements

    • Must possess a current/valid license as a Registered Nurse in the state that they are providing services.
    • Must maintain CPR and BLS certification.

    Skills/Abilities

    • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.
    • Knowledge of common safety hazards and precautions to establish a safe work environment.

    The pay for this position ranges from $37.02 - $65.62 per hour and is based on years of relevant experience.
