OB/GYN Physician

Job Description

• Join an extremely busy 5-person OB/GYN group looking to add another physician.
• All candidates will be considered; however, female candidates are encouraged to apply.
• Enjoy a nice, collegial working atmosphere with great office staff in a beautiful and well-run office.
• Spanish speaking would be a huge plus, but not required.
• The group has ER contracts with 2 major hospitals in the area, generating a lot of new patients immediately.
• Deliver babies at only 1 area hospital with an expected call schedule of 1 out of every 5 weekends for ER and one day during the week, plus cover an OB clinic area hospital district once per week.
• This is a super busy practice with scheduled office visits and an average of 90 deliveries per month.
• Many procedures are done in-office with a great and well-experienced staff.
• On-site C-section surgical suites are located within the labor/delivery unit for any necessary surgeries.
• The facility has a 24-hour Level II Neonatal Unit staffed by neonatologists and highly skilled nurses for expert care of high-risk cases or complications.

Requirements

• Must be Board Certified or Board Eligible.
• Must have a current or pending Florida Medical License.
• Must have a current & unrestricted DEA.
• Clean Databank and no current significant malpractice history.
• Must be able to start this year.
