Pathologist

PATHlink is seeking an experienced Pathologist for multiple surgery centers in the beautiful area of Vero Beach, Florida. Must live locally.

This part-time position will service multiple outpatient surgery centers specializing in Surgical, Dermatology, and Ophthalmology cases. The pathologist will also contribute to maintaining laboratory accreditation and quality assurance standards.

Job Description

• Typical patient volume of 1500 cases read remotely
• Frozen specimens onsite at Surgery Center

Requirements

• Education and Experience:
  • Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.)
  • AP/CP Board Certified
  • Proven experience in general surgical pathology and frozen section interpretation
  • 2 years of experience working in a hospital or surgical center setting is preferred
  • Active Florida medical license required

Compensation

Compensation will be on a case-by-case basis.
