Ultrasound Technologist

Join our team as an Ultrasound Technologist, responsible for operating ultrasound equipment to perform clinical diagnostic ultrasound exams and routine invasive procedures according to established standards and practices. This role provides patient services utilizing ultrasound equipment and demonstrates knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and pathology. You will provide patient care to all age groups, including neonatal, pediatrics, adult, and geriatrics, while effectively communicating with staff and radiologists.

Job Description

• Operate ultrasound equipment to perform clinical diagnostic ultrasound exams and routine invasive procedures according to established standards and practices.
• Provide patient services utilizing ultrasound equipment.
• Demonstrate knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and pathology.
• Provide patient care to all age groups, including neonatal, pediatrics, adult, and geriatrics.
• Communicate effectively with staff and radiologists.

Requirements

• Graduate of an AMA approved Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program or equivalent experience according to Intersocietal Accreditation Commission (IAC).
• Must become registered by the ARDMS within six (6) months of employment. Vascular Sonographers must become registered and/or RVT, RVS, RT(S), RT(VS) within six (6) months of employment. Licensure requirement for Breast Ultrasound can be met with registration through ARRT (BS).
• BLS certified.
• One (1) year of experience is preferred.
• Registered ARDMS and/or RVS/RVT (Registered Vascular Specialist) is desired.
