Respiratory Therapist

Performs patient assessments, general respiratory care procedures and protocols, critical care procedures in adult care areas, blood gas analysis, maintenance and management of all equipment, and patient education.

Job Description

• Performs patient assessments and general respiratory care procedures and protocols
• Conducts critical care procedures in adult care areas
• Performs blood gas analysis
• Maintains and manages all equipment
• Provides patient education

Requirements

• Associates degree in Respiratory Therapy
• Graduate of an accredited school of Respiratory Therapy
• Credentialed by the National Board for Respiratory Care as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
• Licensed by the State of Georgia under the Composite State Board of Medical Examiners
• BLS, ACLS (ALS can be used in place of ACLS) required
• Must be actively practicing and maintaining all required competencies

Required Hours

• Weekend Option 7pm-7am
