Pulmonary and Sleep Outpatient - Physician Assistant

Piedmont Healthcare is currently recruiting for a Physician Assistant to join the Piedmont Pulmonary and Sleep office in Newnan. This is a full-time outpatient position.

Job Description

• Functions as an independent provider in a busy Pulmonary office with MDs available to assist in evaluating complex patients as needed.
• Takes patient histories, conducts physical examinations, writes progress notes, and develops appropriate treatment plans.
• Orders and interprets laboratory studies and diagnostic procedures including chest X-rays, chest CTs, and pulmonary function testing. Explains necessity, nature, and results of scheduled diagnostic and therapeutic procedures to the patient.

Requirements

• Graduate of a Physician Assistants program with current license for the Georgia State Composite Board.
