RN Supervisor Oncology Full Time Days
The Clinical Supervisor, in collaboration with the Director, is responsible for the continuous safe operation of the assigned department, including all aspects of patient care, staffing, fiscal responsibility, and strategic goals of the unit. This role is a designated leader responsible for the implementation, supervision, and evaluation of safe patient care while promoting a safe environment for employees, families, and visitors. The Clinical Supervisor maintains clinical and professional competency as appropriate to the ages, developmental stages, and special needs of the population. Service Excellence behavior is promoted at all times.
Job Description
- Responsible for the continuous safe operation of the assigned department
- Oversee all aspects of patient care, staffing, fiscal responsibility, and strategic goals
- Implement, supervise, and evaluate safe patient care
- Promote a safe environment for employees, families, and visitors
Requirements
- Associates degree in Nursing required
- 2-3 years of Acute Care or comparable experience with demonstrated leadership ability preferred
- A valid Permanent Multi-State RN or LPN License from the state in which you reside is required
- American Heart Association BLS CPR required
- Other certifications required are determined by specific unit and are required within the orientation period
