An opportunity is available for a board-certified (or board-eligible) Anatomic and Clinical Pathologist to join a supportive and collegial team in a community-based setting. Job Description
- Interpret surgical pathology, frozen sections, and select cytology specimens.
- Perform gross examination and dictation of surgical tissues as appropriate.
- Provide timely and accurate written pathology reports to referring providers.
- Consult with physicians regarding test interpretation and case findings.
- Participate in quality assurance, lab inspections, and infection control activities.
- Collaborate with laboratory staff to ensure compliance with CAP, CLIA, HIPAA, and OSHA standards.
- Engage in intradepartmental meetings, peer reviews, and continuing medical education.
- Assist with training or supervision of lab personnel as needed.
Schedule
Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM
