Job Description

• Assess patient needs, develop their recovery plans, and deliver occupational therapy.
• Address the whole patient and see them as an individual.
• Design programs that restore, reinforce, and enhance physical abilities and independence.
• Adapt to the needs of the patient and find joy in the variety of work and settings.
• Collaborate with peers and make referrals to help patients get the care they need to thrive.
• Train patients and caregivers on skills needed to promote independence and productivity.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in an occupational therapy curriculum accredited by ACOTE standards.
• Initial registration from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy.
• Valid and unencumbered occupational therapy license as required in the state of practice.
