Job Description
- Assess patient needs, develop recovery plans, and deliver occupational therapy.
- Address the whole patient and see them as an individual.
- Design programs that restore, reinforce, and enhance physical abilities and independence.
- Adapt to the needs of the patient and find joy in the variety of work and settings.
- Collaborate with peers and make referrals to help patients get the care they need.
- Train patients and caregivers on skills to promote independence and productivity.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in an occupational therapy curriculum accredited by ACOTE standards.
- Initial registration from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy.
- Valid and unencumbered occupational therapy license as required in the state of practice.
