Emergency Medicine Physician

Join our team as an Emergency Medicine Physician for ongoing coverage starting in April 2024. This position offers 12-hour shift blocks, providing flexibility and a structured schedule.

Job Description

• Coverage needed for various dates in April, May, and June 2024, with shifts from 6a-6p and 6p-6a.
• Annual volume of the facility is approximately 14,000 visits.
• The facility has 9 ED beds, including 1 designated triage room.
• MD coverage is supported for 24 hours in shift blocks (12-hour shifts).
• The hospital does not have a hospitalist program.
• The admission rate is 11%.
• The trauma level is none, with an application pending for May 2019.
• EMR used is Med Series 4.
• ED physician responds to floor and ICU codes and imminent delivery in OB if the OB physician is not in-house.

Requirements

• Board Certified in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine with Emergency Department experience or Emergency Department Boarded.
• Required certifications include ACLS, ATLS, and PALS.
