Coverage Needed: Gastroenterology

We are seeking coverage for a gastroenterology position for 2 weeks per month in 2024. The available dates include:

• February 12 through February 18
• February 26 through March 3
• March 11 through March 17
• March 25 through March 31
• April 8 through April 14
• April 22 through April 28
• May 6 through May 12
• May 20 through May 26
• June 3 through June 9
• June 17 through June 23
• July 15 through July 21
• August 12 through August 18
• August 26 through September 1

Job Description

• Hospital covers the cost of travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance.
• The hospital will only consider candidates with a clean Michigan license (not IMLC).
• The site is looking for complete block coverage and will only consider providers with full availability of the dates needed and not partial.
• Responsibilities include hospital/procedures only plus call.
• Procedures include EGD, colonoscopy, pH studies, manometry, sigmoidoscopy, PEG/PEG-J tube placement, ERCP/EUS.
• Preferred experience with 4 procedure rooms/Endo Suites, Olympus, hydrogen breath testing, capsule endoscopy, Paragon & EndoPro EMR, and propofol.
• Join a well-established, highly accomplished Endo Unit team with an average of 12 patients per day.
