Pediatrician

We are seeking a Board Certified Pediatrician to provide locums coverage. This position involves call shifts that begin at 0700 and end at 0700 the following day, with weekend shifts from 0700 on Friday through Monday at 0700.

Job Description

• Outpatient (clinic & call) with an average of 20 patients/admissions per day in the office
• Average of one admission per day in the hospital
• Average inpatient census of 1 baby born per day
• Call: 1 night per week; 1 weekend per month, shared with a pediatrician, NP, and FM MD
• Required attendance at C-sections when requested by OB provider
• No ICU/Critical Care duties
• No ER backup coverage required
• EMR: EPIC
• Practice includes 6 exam rooms and onsite lab services
• Team consists of 1 MD, 1 FNP, and 4 Nurses/MAs

Requirements

• Required Certification: BLS, PALS, and NRP
• Procedures include onsite lab, in-house circumcisions, ear irrigation, minor suturing, Covid/sick clinic, POC testing for strep, flu, and RSV, routine well child exams and vaccines, and Covid vaccines for ages 5-18
