Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon

We are actively seeking board-certified plastic and reconstructive surgeons to provide locums coverage for plastics, hand, and face surgery. This position is at a 900+ bed, level 1 trauma center.

Job Description

• Coverage needed from 7 AM Friday through Monday
• As soon as credentialed, ongoing coverage (two weekends a month)
• Inpatient only with strong OR and specialist support (trauma, neurosurgery, general surgery, etc.)
• No ICU duties and will not respond to codes
• EPIC EHR

Procedures Required

• Complex facial trauma reconstruction, both soft tissue and skeletal (full face, upper, mid face, and mandible, coverage of cranial defects) for both adult and pediatric patients
• Complex upper extremity trauma reconstruction including soft tissue (tendon, peripheral nerve, and vascular below the elbow, and burns) and skeletal for both adult and pediatric patients
• Complex lower extremity soft tissue reconstruction for adult and pediatric patients
• General plastic and reconstructive surgery, including breast and body procedures
• Complex upper extremity trauma reconstruction and skeletal (distal radius, wrist, and hand) for both adult and pediatric patients
