Job Description
- Assess, diagnose, and treat conditions affecting the foot and lower extremities
- Provide diabetic foot care and preventive wound management
- Educate patients and caregivers on foot health and mobility preservation
- Collaborate with nursing facility staff to coordinate patient-centered care
- Participate in Medicare quality programs to ensure best-in-class outcomes
- Document clinical encounters using NextGen EMR on a company-issued iPad
Requirements
- Master's degree and completion of an accredited Physician Assistant program (required)
- Active state licensure as Physician Assistant or eligibility to obtain license (required)
- Experience post Physician Assistant training in the podiatry space strongly preferred
- Certification by the National Commission of Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) (required)
- Clinical experience in podiatry post-PA training (strongly preferred)
- Ability to function well in a fast-paced and at times stressful environment
- Ability to bend, lift, and carry items weighing up to 15 pounds at times
