Family Medicine Physician

Actively seeking a full-time Family Medicine Physician for clinic coverage located in San Antonio, TX, to start July 1st. This position involves a pediatric and adult patient population within a value-based care model, featuring 30-minute appointment times and low patient volume. The focus is on clinical outcomes and preventative care.

The work schedule is from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday, with no late clinics, no after-hours charting, and no call! This role offers a good work/life balance with time built in for administrative tasks. Physicians are supported by RNs and will oversee one Advanced Practice Provider, with additional support and oversight from a Physician Lead. Quick credentialing turnaround is expected in 2-4 weeks, with EMR systems including eClinicalWorks and Elation. There is no payer enrollment required, and a one-week virtual orientation is paid.

Job Description

• Provide clinic coverage for a pediatric and adult patient population

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited US School of Medicine; MD or DO - Required
• Board Certified or Truly Board Eligible in Family Medicine - Required
• Current unrestricted Texas license - Required
• Current DEA Certificate - Required
• BLS certification - Required
• Full-time availability - Required
• Clean background with no or little malpractice history - Highly preferred
• Local provider - Highly preferred
