    Family Practice

    Join our team as a Family Practice provider in a community health center. This position offers the opportunity to work with a diverse patient population, including migrants and refugees, in a supportive and collaborative environment.

    Job Description

    • Contract length: 3 months, with the possibility to extend
    • Shift details: 2 days/week, 8-hour workday with 1 hour unpaid lunch
    • Schedule: Monday-Friday (only 2 days)
    • Hourly rate: $100-$115/hr
    • Support staff: Dedicated medical assistant for each provider, receptionist, mental health therapists, dietitians; most clinics have an onsite pediatrician and local health care administrator
    • Amount of coverage needed per month: Full-time, 40 hours/week
    • Patients per day: Scheduled to see up to 21 patients; may be less depending on cancellations, but should be comfortable with higher volume and fast-paced environment
    • Patient population/age: Newborns to geriatrics; provider should be comfortable working with all ages
    • Department description: Community health center; providers must have experience in these settings or express interest in working with vulnerable populations
    • EMR: EPIC
    • Special procedures: Basic bread and butter procedures including injections, IUD placement, and minor wound care
    • Skills required: Expected to hit the ground running; will have a 1-week ramp-up with onsite orientation but will be expected to begin patient care by day 3
    • Practice setting: Outpatient ambulatory setting - Community Health Center
    • Travel logistics: Specific travel costs covered by the client include flight, rental car or mileage, and lodging

    Requirements

    • Board certification: BC or BE
    • License required: Active WA license required; non-licensed candidates will not be considered
    • DEA: Active WA DEA required
