Full-Time Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) or Physician Assistant (PA)

As a Full-Time Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) or Physician Assistant (PA), you'll provide care to client employees and their dependents in our Health Center located in Elko, NV. This exciting role will support our Walk-In/Acute Care service line. Anticipated work schedule will include rotating 4x10 shifts of 8:00 am - 7:00 pm (Monday-Thursday and Tuesday-Friday) + 1-2 weekends per month of Saturday & Sunday, 8 am - 2 pm. Job Description
- Conduct physical exams and preventive health measures per guidelines
- Perform procedures such as injections, suturing, wound care, and infection management
- Develop patient care plans, record progress, and ensure continuity of care
- Educate patients on treatment plans, health maintenance, and development
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests to assess clinical conditions
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams for comprehensive care
- Prescribe or recommend treatments, including medications and therapies
- Refer patients to specialists or physicians as needed
- Maintain patient health records to ensure accurate and up-to-date documentation
- Educate and coach nursing staff on best practices
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Maintain state RN licenses/certificates to practice
- Maintain Nurse Practitioner licenses/certificates to practice
- Maintain State Prescriptive Authority (if applicable)
- Federal DEA license (matching each state of practice as applicable)
- State Narcotic/Controlled Substance license if required in your state
- Current national certification (ANCC or AANP required)
- Master's Degree in Science of Nursing (if Master's Degree in Science certificate does not state Nursing on it then a copy of transcripts is required)
- Current certification with hands-on training in AHA, ARC or equivalent Basic Life Support for healthcare providers is required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support may also be required based on contract scope of services
- At least three years of clinical experience as a Nurse Practitioner in an ambulatory care, occupational health, family practice or emergency department setting

Premise provides its reasonable and genuinely expected range of compensation for this job of $120,000.00 - $150,000.00 annually. A number of factors will influence the rate offered for this position, including your experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other factors.
