Part Time Physician Assistant

As a Part Time Physician Assistant, you'll provide care to client employees and their dependents in our Health Center located in Greeley, CO. The scheduled hours are 8 hours per week, Fridays, 7am-4pm.

Job Description

• Conduct physical exams and preventive health measures per guidelines and approved agreements.
• Perform procedures such as injections, suturing, wound care, and infection management.
• Develop patient care plans, record progress, and ensure continuity of care.
• Educate patients on treatment plans, health maintenance, growth, and development.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests to assess clinical conditions.
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams for comprehensive care.
• Prescribe or recommend treatments, including medications and therapies.
• Refer patients to specialists or physicians as needed.
• Maintain patient health records to ensure accurate and up-to-date documentation and records.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• 1 year of experience and DEA required.
• Maintains state licenses/certifications to practice.
• Maintains Board of Pharmacy Prescribing License (if applicable).
• Current NCCPA national certification required.
• Degree from ARC-PA accredited program.
• Federal DEA license (matching each state of practice as applicable).
• State Narcotic/Controlled Substance license if required in your state.
• Current certification with hands-on training in AHA, ARC or equivalent Basic Life Support for healthcare providers is required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support may also be required based on contract scope of services.
• At least three years of clinical experience as a Physician Assistant in an ambulatory care, occupational health, family practice or emergency department setting.
